About plant quarantine. Federal Law 206 of 21.07.2014

The purposes of this Federal Law are to ensure the protection of plants and the territory of the Russian Federation from the penetration of it and the spread of quarantine objects through it, to prevent damage from the spread of quarantine objects.

This Federal Law establishes the legal basis for regulation in the field of plant quarantine, defines the powers of federal executive bodies, as well as the basic rights and obligations of individuals, including individual entrepreneurs (including foreign citizens and stateless persons, officials), Russian legal entities, foreign organizations (hereinafter referred to as citizens, legal entities) in the field of plant quarantine.
