International Plant Protection Convention

In order to ensure joint and effective action to prevent the introduction and spread of pests which damage plants and plant products and to promote the adoption of appropriate measures to combat them, the Contracting Parties undertake to adopt the legislative, technical and administrative measures defined in this Convention and in supplementary agreements concluded in accordance with Article XV.
