Fumigation in chambers

Fumigation chamber is used when fumigation under given conditions is impossible. It is usually due to open transportation and storage, when it is inconceivable to provide a level of hermiticity, sufficient for fumigation, or when the outside air temperature is low, which negatively affects fumigation process.

Fumigation chamber is a refitted transportation container, equipped with fumigating devices, i.e. system of fumigating agent charging, ventilation system and system for temperature and humidity control. Fumigation process is controlled remotely. Usually products remain inside of a chamber for the period from 3 hours to 5 days, depending on a pesticide used, after which degassing is carried out.
